CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

The main character, Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov, is a poor student, a young intellectual who does not want to waste his future in vain. He believes he is among the special and chosen ones, destined for great deeds that will change the world and bring progress to all humankind. However, his poor financial situation threatens to stop him on his great path and hinder him from the very first step. But Raskolnikov believes that everything can be justified in his mission, which has a greater purpose. That is why he is even willing to commit the crime of murder to obtain the necessary money.
